At this moment, 3Deeble supports files in .glb or .gltf format, a standard format in the 3D world.
We're planning to extending the support including others file standard, as .fbx and .obj format.
For a good user experience, it is recommended to keep a maximum of 50,000 polygons and not to exceed 5mb per model, more than sufficient for an excellent rendering; it is possible to use heavier and more detailed files, but less powerful devices may suffer.
The model must have correct UV maps and have material names with only alphanumeric characters.
If you need to create 3D models of your products, or to optimize existing files, we are available to take care of it.
3Deeble supports Diffuse, Normal, Specular, and Displace maps for each material. It also supports Ambient Occlusion maps for each object, for better rendering.
Except for the Diffuse map, which contains color information, the others are optional but strongly recommended to take full advantage of the rendering capabilities.
For a good user experience, it is recommended to use the square format with a resolution of 1024 or 2048 pixels and not to exceed 1mb in weight per image. Textures with these characteristics guarantee an excellent rendering in most cases; it is possible to use larger and more detailed files if necessary for specific cases, after evaluating the performance on the devices involved.
